Terms of Use
Terms governing use of the Matrix Mechanical Contractor website and public-facing Matrix Systems features.
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Matrix Mechanical Contractor website and public-facing Matrix Systems features. By using this website, you agree to use it lawfully and in accordance with these terms.
Website Information
This website provides general information about Matrix, our residential, commercial, and industrial services, preventive maintenance programs, customer resources, financing availability, careers, and service areas. Website content may change as our services and systems evolve.
Requesting Service
Submitting a service request does not by itself guarantee an appointment time, response time, price, scope of work, or acceptance of a project. Service is confirmed only after Matrix reviews the request and communicates acceptance or scheduling details.
Estimates, Pricing, and Scope
Website descriptions are general and are not binding estimates. Final pricing, equipment selection, labor scope, materials, exclusions, schedules, warranties, and other job terms will be established through the applicable estimate, proposal, service agreement, work authorization, invoice, or other written agreement.
If there is a conflict between this website and a signed or accepted project document, the specific project document controls for that job.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact, property, equipment, and service information; providing reasonable access to the work area; disclosing known site hazards or restrictions; and following agreed payment and project terms.
Customer Accounts and Matrix Systems
Customer Relations and other Matrix Systems features may provide access to estimates, invoices, payments, active service, job history, and related account information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity occurring through your account unless you promptly report unauthorized access.
Payments
Invoices and payment obligations are governed by the terms shown on the applicable invoice, estimate, proposal, service agreement, or other project document. Payment processing may be provided by a third-party processor and may be subject to that provider's terms.
Financing
Financing availability is subject to eligibility, lender approval, credit requirements, lender terms, and applicable disclosures. Matrix Mechanical Contractor is not the lender unless specifically stated otherwise in writing. Financing approval is not guaranteed by the website or by Matrix.
Maintenance Programs and Service Agreements
Descriptions of Bronze, Silver, Gold, residential maintenance, or commercial and industrial preventive maintenance programs are general summaries. Visit frequency, covered equipment, included materials, discounts, priority levels, response expectations, exclusions, renewal terms, and pricing will be defined in the applicable service agreement.
Careers and Applications
Career information and application features do not create an employment agreement or guarantee an interview, position, compensation level, schedule, or other employment term. Employment decisions remain subject to Matrix's hiring process and applicable law.
Acceptable Use
You may not use the website or Matrix Systems to interfere with system operation, attempt unauthorized access, submit fraudulent information, misuse another person's account, distribute malicious code, scrape protected information, or engage in unlawful activity.
Intellectual Property
The Matrix name, branding, logo, website design, original written content, and other Matrix-created materials are owned by or used with permission of Matrix Mechanical Contractor unless otherwise stated. They may not be copied, republished, or used to represent another business without permission.
Third-Party Services and Links
The website may connect to third-party services for financing, payments, communications, maps, hosting, or other functions. Matrix is not responsible for the independent terms, policies, availability, or operation of services we do not control.
Website Availability and Accuracy
We work to keep website information accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that every page, feature, price reference, service description, or third-party connection will always be error-free, complete, or continuously available. Contact Matrix directly when information is important to a specific project or service decision.
Limitation of Website Use
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Matrix is not responsible for indirect losses arising solely from reliance on general website information or from temporary website or third-party service interruptions. This section does not change obligations Matrix accepts in a separate written service, project, warranty, or other agreement.
Governing Law
These website terms are governed by the laws applicable in the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where another law must apply.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use as the website, Matrix Systems, services, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
